Gideon Lincecum's' best quality is its very dark foliage that acts as a foil to its single white flowers. Plants attain heights to six feet but are very bushy and thick. Few thorns and lots of hips make it even more attractive. This rose was named after Gideon Lincecum, a 1800's plant collector.

'Jeanne d'Arc' is a dainty but vigorous rose with semi-double, pure white flowers borne in clusters. Like all Noisettes, it betrays its Musk ancestry by a grand fall display and a strong fragrance. Attractive red hips often appear at the same time as the flowers. It is best used as a pillar so that the flowers may be readily seen, or it can be grown as a free-standing bush. Wherever it is planted, 'Jeanne d'Arc' will create an almost perpetual display of Southern beauty.

The perfect climber for a trellis by an old-fashioned love seat, ‘Kathleen’ has a multitude of five-petaled roses that look like apple blossoms - pale pink with a darker blush on the backs of the petals and with prominent yellow stamens. 'Ma Perkins' is a rose that has been used extensively in hybridizing programs since it was released, the 1950's. There is of course a reason for this. Being one of the original Floribundas, 'Ma Perkins' possesses an abundance of almost bourbon-like blooms graced with with strong fragrance. Indeed the number of blooms is so great that some even refer to Ma as a "Hybrid Polyantha." Some interesting facts are that it is "nearly" thornless, and it was used by David Austin to breed 'Wife of Bath' and several other English Roses.

This rose is an excellent pillar rose up to eight feet or a large shrub.The thornless canes produce soft apricot pink flowers from spring through fall. We find 'Miss Lillian' to be disease resistant.

Very delicate in appearance, 'Mrs. Oakley Fisher' has large single, orange yellow flowers with prominent stamens and a nice Tea scent. It makes a particularly sturdy bush for a Hybrid Tea, though, and is a nice compact size that will fit easily into any garden, or even a container.

This vigorous and tall shrub of six feet produces 2 1/2 inch flowers of soft pink from spring through fall. Due to its cold hardiness, 'Mrs. San Houston' can be used in difficult areas when other roses have failed.

 Also known as "Common Monthly", "Common Blush China", "Old Pink Daily", "Old Pink Monthly", and "Parsons Pink China", the myriad of names of this semi-double hybrid of R. chinensis attest to the friendly familiarity with which it has been grown for over two hundred years. One of the most common of old roses, it is also one of the most valuable, for it has passed on its incredible blooming prowess to countless cultivars during the history of hybridization in the West. 'Old Blush' has medium, semi-double, lilac pink flowers in loose clusters. They flush darker pink in the sun and are followed by large orange hips. It blooms so steadily that it is not a very good cut flower: the blossoms drop quickly to make room for their successors. The bush is full and upright in habit, growing slowly to over 5 feet, with neat, healthy foliage. Perfume is soft, but fruity and pleasant. Whether used in a hedge (which can be spectacular), as a specimen, or in a border, 'Old Blush' should be treated simply as a flowering shrub and not fussed over.

'Climbing Old Blush' is one of the oldest climbing roses in commerce.  Being a sport of the shurb, 'Old Blush', the bloom form and color is identical to the shrub and only differs in size.  It is a very vigorous climber and can get quite large so please allow it plenty of space where you can enjoy its blooms throughout the year; a trait that is rare for most climbing roses.

Massive clusters of large, pale pink, semi-double flowers fading to peaches and cream adorn this chunky shrub during the growing seasons. Fat, orange-pink hips weigh down the bush in fall and winter. 'Penelope'  is an excellent choice for hedging as the bush is dense with beautiful foliage and fragrant flowers and will mature quickly.

'Perle des Jardins', a Tea rose, was one parent of 'Prosperity', which may account for the sweetness of the fragrance. The double flowers are medium in size and ivory with pale pink buds.
