"Peggy Martin", also known as the Hurricane Katrina rose, is a vigorous climber that can easily reach 15 plus feet. It bears clusters of pink shaded flowers that occur from spring through fall. Promoted as thornless, we find this rose does have prickles on the backs of the leaves. If you are a novice rose grower or afraid you won’t be successful with roses, plant this rose. This rose will surprise you and within a couple of years, your neighbors will come begging for cuttings.

A cross between 'Tiffany' and 'Jersey Beauty', this fast growing shrub is upright and sturdy, has few disease problems, and is covered with an abundance of bluish-green foliage. The flowers are freely produced throughout the growing season and are simply lovely with a rich, distinctive fragrance of their own. 'Belinda's Dream' was named for the daughter of one of Dr. Basyes friends. Having seen the plant in full flush of bloom, we can only envy her distinction.

'Belinda's Blush' is a color sport of one of our favorite roses, 'Belinda's Dream'. Similar in size and growth habit, this rose offers fragrant, full blooms of a light, creamy pink that are excellent for cutting. Canes free of thorns are always appreciated.

Old Rose lovers prayers have been answered by 'Graham Thomas'™, a bright yellow rose with the old rose shape. Fat buds open to cupped, medium blooms of a radiant golden yellow. The fragrance is unusual and spicy. Rather upright, many gardeners are at a loss as to how to control this rose. We have heard numerous remedies of either pruning back hard, pegging or training as a small climber. Either way, it looks magnificent in the garden. The rose was named for the British Old Rose expert, Graham Stuart Thomas.

This most interesting rose was once sold as ‘Tipo Ideale’, and it is ideally suited to illustrate the typical China trait of darkening with age, instead of fading. Nowhere is that trait more visible than in the flowers of ‘Mutabilis’, whose single petals open sulfur yellow, changing through orange to a rich pink and finally crimson. Bright, silky flowers of all these colors will often be on display at the same time, looking as if a group of multi-colored butterflies has settled on the bush. This aspect earned ‘Mutabilis’ its common name–"The Butterfly Rose". A healthy, well-branched shrub, ‘Mutabilis’ will easily grow to 6 feet, making a fine specimen plant whose showy flowers are accented by the bronze color of the new growth. This is a very popular rose due to its distinct coloration.
