9 Month Guarantee

We stand behind our roses and want our customers to be happy. Our roses are guaranteed to be true to name. We will happily evaluate situations on a case by case basis. We do ask that you carefully select roses hardy for your climatic zone and that you accept delivery at the recommended planting time for your area. If you choose not to do this, the guarantee will be voided.

The Antique Rose Emporium cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond their control, such as:

  • Delayed planting: After 1 month of receipt
  • Plant loss due to weather conditions: including heat stress, winter freezes, drought, flood, tornado, etc.
  • Over or under watering Improper fertilizing
  • Indoor planting or storage
  • Planted during danger of frost.
  • Not properly placed (not planted in full sun with well draining soil)
  • Customer Satisfaction: We strive to provide excellent products to all our customers. However, we cannot guarantee that every customer's choice will meet their specific expectations or preferences such as fragrance and color. The final decision and selection made by the customer is at their own discretion.

The Antique Rose Emporium is also not to be held responsible for blackspot, powdery mildew, or pests as these issues are the responsibility of the gardener. If the rose is not planted within one month of receipt, the guarantee will be voided.

Yellowing leaves, minor blackspot, and damaged canes can occur during transit, this is not a cause for refund. Once the rose is planted, affected foliage is removed, and it receives proper care, it will make a full comeback. This is also the case for defoliation. Defoliation can happen during transit, and there are also instances that the leaves are removed before packing. This does not affect the health of the plant.

What if your rose dies?

We evaluate refunds on a case by case basis. In order to evaluate each situation effectively, will need the following information sent to guarantee@weareroses.com :

  • Multiple quality photos of your rose (up close, full view, etc.) unclear photos will not be approved
  • Photo of the tag on the rose or the original paperwork that shows the order number
  • If the rose shows signs of life, we will provide advice to ensure success
  • Brief description of care/why you think you had issue with the rose
  • Contact Phone Number

After a full evaluation of your specific situation, in approved cases, we offer a one-time refund for the cost of the rose (minus shipping and handling). This ensures you can reorder the same rose or try a different one.

Once all of the above information has been gathered and sent to guarantee@weareroses.com you can expect someone from the customer experience team to reach out within 3-4 business days.
