Jim and his wife, Kim, purchased the Emporium in 2022 after years of admiring its legacy, and he brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to each tour. A proud Texas A&M graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Range Land Ecology and Management, Jim has dedicated his life to creating sustainable, biodiverse landscapes.
With experience spanning ranch brokerage and landscape design, Jim’s expertise includes working with native plants and resilient landscapes that thrive in Texas conditions. His career has been a testament to the beauty of using roses in sustainable designs, drawing on native and native-like plants to create vibrant, pollinator-friendly environments.
