Fragrant Blush is a revolution in the category of fragrant roses. A true thoroughbred, it comes from a cross of two extremely fragrant roses, ‘Dee-Lish’ and ‘Scepter’d Isle®’. Additionally, with ‘Heritage’ and ‘Graham Thomas’ as grandparents you can’t go wrong. What makes Fragrant Blush special is that it is extremely heat tolerant. Even with Texas summers and a heat index of 115°F, this rose remains powerfully fragrant, while other white and light pink roses melt in the sun.

'Crawfish Étouffée’ is a special rose that resulted from hybridizing two award-winning and fragrant parents, the Meilland rose ‘Dee-Lish’ and the David Austin rose ‘Lady of Shallot’. The inspiration for the name came from our breeder Andrew, as he is from Southern Louisiana. The color is a unique red with hints of russet orange and resembles boiled crawfish in appearance. The fragrance is fittingly floral and spicy, and the foliage is reminiscent of bay leaves, which are an essential ingredient in Cajun cuisines. Combined together, the overall effect will take your senses to the New Orleans French Quarter, where sounds of traditional Jazz music and smells of good cookin’ fill the air.

The growth habit of 'Crawfish Étouffée' strongly resembles ‘Lady of Shallot’ with loose, informal, and graceful architecture when fully established. If we consider the parentage of ‘Crawfish Étouffée’, ‘Dee-Lish’ is cold hardy to zone 5a, and ‘Lady of Shallot’ has been reported to be cold hardy to zone 4 in Finland. Therefore, we assume that ‘Crawfish Étouffée’ will be cold hardy to at least zone 5. ‘Crawfish Étouffée’ blooms from Spring until frost throughout the season and possesses the disease resistance of its parent ‘Dee-Lish’.

This climbing rose deserves much favor. As a mannerly climber to 10 feet, ‘Heavenly Ascent®’ is perfect for a pillar or trellis where her very full, fragrant, cream colored flowers will catch the eye (and noses) of passersby. The Tuesday McMains rose is one of our Pioneer Trailblazer roses. This stunning shrub rose shows a profusion of delicate apricot semi-double blooms, making it a great choice for pollinators. It beautifully blends the characteristics of its parents. It shows the prolific, repeat blooming habit of Winter Sun and the extraordinary fragrance of Jean Teressa. 

This rose has a sweet yet light fragrance reminiscent of gardenia and jasmine. In addition to the beautiful blooms and pleasant fragrance, this rose also sets bountiful hips. Despite its delicate appearance, the Tuesday McMains rose is a shockingly low-maintenance rose that is exceptionally disease-resistant and boasts fewer thorns than the average rose.

 Grandma’s Red is a repeat blooming compact rose to 3 feet perfect for the small border or even better for use in a container. Old fashioned red fragrant flowers are very full, prolific in number, and repeating spring thru fall. The deep red color is softened with companions of pink and white flowers or for a hot contrast mixed with yellow and orange flowering perennials and annuals. Rose shows great tolerance to disease and is cold-hardy into zone 5.

This rose was named in honor of  the Texas Rose Rustler and rose breeder, Ray Ponton.  One inch, clustered,  mauve flowers smother the bush when it is in bloom.  Given the diminutive size of this very floriferous rose, planting in mass along walkways or in containers would be ideal.

This is the darkest purple rose we grow! That being said, with this wonderful novelty color, it requires a little extra care when it comes to blackspot. However, it’s worth it, once you smell the exotic and powerfully fragrant blooms of citrus and clove. Spurred by the idea of “how dark can we go?”,  this cross of ‘Midnight Blue’ and ‘Lavender Crush’ isn’t a disappointment.

'Lasting Memories' is a rose straight from a romance novel, and leaves nothing to the imagination.  Its fragrant perfume (cherry and damask with a hint of citrus) and velvety pink petals create the sensation that is ideal for any secret garden but will love your garden bed as well.  This cold hardy, nearly thornless,  4 -5 foot  shrub has clean foliage requiring little care once planted. Flowers are delicate, falling off of the plant cleanly only after a few days.  With 'Dee-Lish' as a parent, fragrance is what this rose is known for.
