The original plant of "McClinton Tea" from historic Natchitoches, Louisiana, perfumed the entire front of a small cottage garden. The robust, 7-foot tall plant had at least a dozen semi-double, bright pink, heavily Tea-scented flowers when we collected cuttings in mid-December. The reverse of the petals has a darker pink shading that adds a subtle depth to the large flower.
